Capabilities: Production
A D Metro maintains a 10,000 sq.ft. manufacturing facility at its headquarters in Ottawa, Canada. Most 5-wire sensors production as well as all customization and sensor enhancements are done at this facility. The test and measurement facilities are also maintained here, as well as inventory and warehousing.
In addition, A D Metro maintains a dedicated contract manufacturing facility in Taiwan for high volume cost competitive resistive sensors.
There are also licensed facilities for the production of ULTRA glass armoured sensors and capacitive sensors in Michigan, USA and China. High volume ULTRA facilities are slated to open in Xiamen, China by Q4 2008.
A D Metro partners with EETI/eGalax for the production of touch controller electronics.
