Not all applications require the durability of ULTRA. A D Metro offers a complete line of standard 4, 8 and 5-wire sensors. These sensors are of the highest quality and are often the most cost effective alternative. We offer customized design to meet any application from the smallest handheld to the most complex resistive sensor.
Capacitive
Capacitive sensors are often the preferred solution for touch applications that require good optics, light touch and are vandal resistant except for deep scratches. A D Metro’s engineering design and high quality manufacturing ensure a superior and cost effective sensor for those applications that have traditionally used capacitive technology.
Surface Acoustic Wave
A D Metro has recently introduced a line of Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) touch screens to the available technologies we offer. SAW offers an excellent alternative for many touch applications requiring an accurate light touch, excellent optical characteristics all in a very durable and reliably package. Typical applications are kiosks, ticket machines, light industrial and gaming.

A D Metro is pleased to present ULTRA CP. Finally, a truly durable, sunlight readable resistive option is now available. A D Metro has incorporated their patented glass armoured sensor with a circular polarizer to produce a low reflectance sensor that is actually usable outdoors.
